excellent base for exploring hollywood's iconic sights and parks
During my stay, I loved that I could easily walk to the TCL Chinese Theatre, just about 1.5 km away, and enjoy the beautiful views and trails at Runyon Canyon Park, which is less than a 30-minute stroll from the hotel, making it a perfect spot for a weekend adventure in the heart of the city. The big room was comfortable for my solo travels, but I found the setup of the wet bar and sky deck a little confusing.

The location is unbeatable, just steps from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The rooftop pool offers stunning views of the Hollywood Hills, perfect for sipping cocktails in the sun. The check-in staff was helpful and super friendly. The room was spacious and had a modern vibe. I appreciated the intimate atmosphere of the hotel—even with a busy area outside, the noise levels during the night were manageable. However, some issues popped up. The high parking fees are outrageous. I paid $50 a night, which felt excessive given the location. The housekeeping could improve. I noticed some stained coasters that hadn't been replaced. It's something you should be aware of if you're planning to rest early. The breakfast choices were limited, leaving much to be desired.

The rooftop pool area is a slice of paradise, and I found the tasty bites at local spots like Cleo Hollywood to be banging. The staff at the bar were super accommodating, easily mixing up those fab cocktails.
Plus, no coffee in the room and the breakfast choices left me feeling a bit underdressed for the foodie scene.

The location made it easy to explore local attractions, and the staff were incredibly friendly, making our arrival smooth. The room had a few maintenance issues, like a damaged switch, and I faced inconvenience with limited dining options, including a pricey buffet with no flexibility in the menu.

Decent choice for a quick stop in LA with good value for the cost. They comped me for the parking due to my late check-in. Be ready to pay extra for parking and internet unless you're a member.
